1. I am always out of money
Most probably because I bought every book that I heard about.2. Always out of shelf space
See point 1.3. Never have enough time to read all the books I purchased
For a couple of reasons here. Sometimes the book I bought is way to popular, so I already know how it goes on. Else there is something more popular that needs to be read. Case in point: I started reading "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" A couple of days after that Game of Thrones released their first trailer for season 7 and I started reading "A World of Ice and Fire" just so I could understand the trailer fully and debunk any stupid theory my friends decided to thrust upon me.4. Every time you hear the mention of a book you haven't heard you have to buy it and inadvertently it ends up on either your bookshelf or your Amazon wishlist
I started watching Books On Toast podcasts "BoTCasts" and suddenly my Amazon wishlist is populated with a crap-ton of books that I will read in the distant future.5. You get trapped by a particular author's works.
Case in point: The Lord of the Rings, I read all three books, found out about two more books in the appendix of the LOTR: The Hobbit and The Silmarillion. Purchased both of them and then discovered that JRR Tolkien has over 50 more books on the same universe. Got a booknerd boner, if you know what I mean.6. I am very easy to gift on a birthday
All you have got do is find my Amazon wishlist7. I know loads of secondhand book places.
The contributing factor being that I am always out of money. Also these places are both online and offline. Bangalore is a wonderful place for secondhand book shopping. I will make a comprehensive list of book places in a separate post.
PS: This is an early publish. More points will be added as they become apparent.
